I'm sorry to hear about your kids. Is your little one ok now?
That is one more stressor you really didn't need. :(

You guys are the best! Yeah it was worrying for a while, but I think I'm coping.
My baby is better now. He had an emergency operation to drain an abscess on his leg and he's doing well. He smells of penicillin, but nobody's perfect, right? The doctors said it was just one of those things; no particular cause.
I've been changing the dressing on his wound and really enjoying it in a perverse kind of way. I think I want to be a nurse in my next life...
I took him to the hospital on Thursday to be checked by the doctors, and while I was looking for the right room I passed the paediatric oncology clinic. There were people there holding little kids with no hair... All these tiny, tiny cancer patients being held by parents who didn't know whether they should continue to hope or whether they should just give up. And I thought, "Things could be so much worse. At least my baby isn't severely ill." It was pretty sobering.
Thanks for your warm wishes.
Love,
Tamar

OH Tamar, I hope your little one gets better soon. Hugs to all of you. That would have broken my heart seeing all those sick little ones in the hospital. :( Well, the most I can do is keep the world in my prayers. Stay safe and take care
