I ususally don't have aproblem - but the rain here in Northern California is driving me bonkers. It rained for most of February, most of march, and now is projected for at least the 1st half of April.
I know we californians are spoiled - but its really bad. There must be others in the same boat. Does anyone ever have their meds adjusted accordingly? I think the psychologists and psychiatrists like it because it increases business.
I've become one wet, damp, depressed rag - and so is my wife......

Spoiled... well we just pump water into the state and enjoy the sun... although your part of California is different socially and scenic than down here -- its like two different worlds... but this rain we've been having is not like the rain I had in Seattle in college. It'd rain, stop, rain a bit again, drizzle, ooze, stop. Here, we don't build storm drains or clog them or whatever and the whole city panics.
But you could be experiencing a California version of SAD (seasonal affective disorder) like it is in the Northwest, though I consider that the Northwest starts in Marin really.
I actually miss Seattle -- not homework, or the grey, but Trees!
You can always look into light boxes that some people can stand/like, my primary disorder is somatiform of light so they'd not be the best for me, but for those who use them some have success. Otherwise it sounds like dysthymia really, a milder form of depression usually treated with SSRIs.

What part of Northern Ca?
We are worried about the grapes now...
And I suggested building an Ark the other day.
I hate the rain. But it fits the mood. Maybe this is why there is suddenly no parking at my therapist's office building.
Hang in. Suns coming.
This is the end of the thread.
