Does it have something to do with sucking out those parts that aren't so useful anymore?

I don't know. I'm gonna feel real dumb in the morning for saying that.

Yup, 2 minutes and already have poster's remorse. (nm)

If something "hoovers", it sucks.

I think she was trying to avoid saying sucks. Which is admirable of her. I say that word far far too often. (But just now I restrained myself from saying that saying it too often, well, hoovers).

;)

Exactly.

Sorry for the confusion. But, indeed, it sucks BIG TIME!!!

My heart is with all fellow suffers and I'm feeling pretty good pity for myself this morning. The unpredictable"ness" and not even thinking about products in anything less than super plus, plus, plus... it's just beginning for me and I'm sick of it already...... did I mention the irritability?

We are all different as mine was less flow and closer together instead of 28 days all my life it was like 20? And lasted instead of 5 for over a week. And for some wierd reason I didn't get agitated. Like I said I'm wierd. Love Phillipa ps I do wish I had it back seriously

Hi Glydin,

I think I must be there or getting there - or it's the meds messing me up which has happened b4. My sil had it terrible = I think she finally had a d and c because she was severely anemic. I've been late recently, and it's less, but lasts longer. Migraines rage for days to a week. I'm hot, everyone else is fine. Then I"m too cold. Can't sleep. Irritable? Yeah...just ask my family! Oh, and as a bonus I have a toddler and he has anger/aggression issues we're trying to work through.

My sil took some herbal suppl. she swore by - had black cohosh, ginseng...and some other stuff in it. (Something ?) Relief...I think, it must've been good cause her husband was unemployed for 2 yrs while she was going through this. I"ve heard black cohosh and maca are supposed to help.

Here's an interesting link if you're inclined...

I don’t feel awful with this transition. Well, I do get cranky, bloated, have cravings to just eat without real hunger, have night sweats, occasional headaches… dang, maybe I do feel worse than I thought. (Smile) A lot of the symptoms I was accustomed to with PMS. The REAL irritant is being on the “Wheel of Cycle MISfortune” show. Over the past year, it’s been spin the wheel, who knows what you’ll get – 22 days, 35 days, 47 days, back to 26 days. It is maddening. I resent having to be on the ready anywhere from 3 weeks to a month and a half. With this unpredictability, also comes the inconsistent length and amount.

I have tried some of the alternative options and found they either didn’t help or I didn’t tolerate them. I may have to revisit those ideas and see if things might be different.

I have “that” exam coming up. I will have a discussion. I’m not sure I’m ready to consider HRT – findings run back and forth on that one. It’s difficult to make an informed decision as the recommendations from the powers that are suppose to know changes week to week.

That does sound maddening! Yeah, it would be hard to make the HRT decision....Good luck with the fun exam - bleh.
