To clean the thingie that holds the toilet brush used to (obviously) clean the toilet.
Monday muck well under way. My cleaning obsession is not altogether a bad thing.

I find that if I clean the toilet with the toilet cleaner thingie, it helps to let it dangle over the toilet by letting the lid down. It will hold it over the toilet so that the water will drip from the brush before it is put away.
Where do you put the plunger. That thing is nasty. I clean it outside.

Well I just stick my hand in toilet and scrub away. Of course I make sure it was flushed first. Then I wash my hands. Works better than anything else and nothing to have to hide. Love Phillipa

You are right, plungers are nasty, nasty things. I clean mine outside also. I've ruined a few with bleach cleaning, now I just Pine Sol the devil out of it. Of course, regular Pine Sol's scent is a little reminisant of cat "p" to me - I guess that's fitting in a strange way.

Are they any good?
I have thought of buying one and then saw a whole gang of them at a close out store we have. Sometimes, that's the kiss of death that the idea wasn't all that great.... and sometimes, it just means a good bargain.

I do have to occassionally get all down and dirty with the hard water we have making a ugly ring. A pumice stone is great for that and doesn't scratch the ceramic.
Oh GOLLY, my life is just not exciting AT ALL when my topic of converstion is toilet cleaning ideas. I think I need a hobby...

on cleaning and I'll shut up about it:
I will have to say I really enjoyed my Monday cleaning session – toilets, toilet brush holders, 3 coats of Quik Shine on hardwood and all. The classic rock radio station I like was very accommodating and kept me motivated with Nugent, Skynard (“Do Freebird”), Yes, Pink Floyd amd a host of others that helped me remember I once had alot of energy. My standmike was a Swiffer Wetjet and when I wanted a wireless handheld, there was the Magic Eraser.
It was a good day’s performance in many ways.

> but I might be being sillyI'm going to hit up Big Lots tomorrow, get some and try 'em out. They had a bunch the last time I was there bargain hunting. I have to get the nonflushable as I live on the outskirts of the land of "Hee Haw" and have a septic tank. I have to be careful with what I feel it. Although, with all the caustic chemicals I fed it today, I don't know why I'm concerned.
