I've got red paint in my hair, and I noticed I looks really good.
Problem is -- painting still isn't done, the kitchen is a mess, and about now I wish I hadn't decided to do this...

Painting is never ending, isn't it? When did the walls get so huge; where did all those nooks and crannies come from?
I took 6 months to completely paint my kitchen. In between bouts of depression I picked the colour and a stencil and the stencil colours (4 colours plus blending - never again!), then I would do a bit, get fed up and walk away, and then come back.
I bet you can beat my time!Maybe Sherwin Williams should be in the hair colouring business?

What if I wanted to paint my house the natural color of your hair? How could I find that?

My memory just ain't that good, but I can tell you I see a band of steel grey where my roots are...
I feel a strong need to smack my mother every time she starts complaining she has grey hair. "Mom, wrong person to complain to, I have more grey hair than you do, and have had since I was 18 years old..."

Gray used to be my favorite color. It represents neutrality. I like to think it represents MY lack of initiative, direction and self worth. sorry
Lately it is orange (but today it is gray)

> Lately it is orange (but today it is gray)gray has always been my favorite color. to me it's creative. i like it's diversity. i like what it can stand for, i like that it's ever changing and that you can represent life in shades of gray.
-but when i was in jr high or highschool someone told me that they read that your favorite color being gray was a sign of mental illness (snicker) if they only knew now......you think that's true?? about the gray and mi?
have you ever heard anything like that?b2c.

Gray is the color of neutrality, “neither subject nor object, neither inner nor outer, neither tension or
relaxation.” Gray feels as though it is not colored, not dark, not light - a separation between two distinct
entities, a demilitarized zone free from stimulus. Gray communicates the element of non-involvement or
concealment. It’s a color that remains uncommitted and uninvolved.

Well that is a very gray or grey area. Both are acceptable, and as far as I know the only word with two spellings. There are more I'm sure. Maybe Lar could help us with that one. Such a plethora of knowledge is'n't that chap?

Gaol -- Jail
Colour -- Color
Humour -- Humor
Aluminium -- AluminumMy husband and I were talking about that the other day, since I am trying to learn to speak Australian so that we can communicate %^D...
There are a fair few words that changed spelling on their trip across the pond. I can't remember all of them, but that's a good topic for people to join in on. What other words have multiple spellings?
