I have to scroll down immediately, because I can't take looking at them anymore. They are disturbing. It's an experiment in some wierd way I'm sure. This last one reminds me of some sort of demonic possession, or severe time and or space distortion. It's just too wierd for me. Yes, I guess I do live in a sci-fi or horror film world, but things like this not only disturb me, they scare me, and things that scare me end up haunting my dreams. I don't want to end up dreaming about a yellow facially distorted Dr Bob coming after me in my sleep. Or a black chalkboard face, or a faded face.......every one of these damn pictures has been disturbing to me, and yet I said nothing until now because I didn't want to appear to be a nerd. Well, I guess I am, I guess I just don't get the reasoning behind them and I don't get the "art" of them, and moreover, I find it extreemly innapropriate to display something like that to people with mental illnesses. I mean for God's sake, I'm having irrational thoughts here about some silly pictures....
Why are you doing it Bob?

Dr. Bob your latest pic is an image that lodges itself in the subconscious to come out and torment in the middle of the night. Something a little less intense and distorted please. Most of us already feel intense and distorted to one degree or another. And besides you're such a cutie patootie!

Its just an image effect that takes about half a mili second, the one hes using now is called motion blur,a basic site that gives u options to do these kinda things are.
Its just harmless pic editing,i wouldent be to freaked out about it,here to show u i reversed the side dr bob appears on,and motion blurred it a lil more...

Wow! As a graphic artist I recognize every one of those filters - something used to distort pictures and art. It would have never occurred to me that they would be upsetting to anyone. Not that I'm saying anyone's wrong or even a nerd because of feeling that way. Its how you feel and that's legit. It just goes to show you how people can view things in such vastly different ways. I just wanted to point out that its probably a very innocent thing on Bob's part.
You may want to babblemail Dr. Bob directly about your concerns, there's no telling how long it will take him to get to this thread.

> -TI agree,i have a blast editing images, animating them, color tinting them, using blur effects and other motion like effects,i hardly ever keep a picture in its orginal setting when i use it to send someone,i always add glitter or something to it,im kina at an awe why such a small picture makes such a big deal.
Here is an example of what u do to a plain ole image,i did this change to this awesome picture so it matched my webpage.
Dr. Bob was just being silly i think,it actualy scares me a bit to think people can be so offended, scares me because id like to particpate on this group but getting so upset over a simple picture edit draws for me a very thin line of what is considered offensive, one i cant see myself unintentionaly not crossing. This is a great picture

I think the thing is, here we are VERY aware of each other's feelings. Its kind of the whole point if you ask me. We've all been there before, so we try to support and accept each other for who we are even if it something we don't completely understand. The feelings are there, and that's enough. I think we try to respect that, rather than question the legitimacy of the cause, which may be why we may come off as extreme. I hope that makes sense.
