Ive been up for 28 hours now. Got back to the USA today. Flying from Europe was a bit of an adventure. We had to put all of our toiletries, liquids, etc in our checked baggage. Could not take a water bottle that we bought in the airport on the plane. My carry-on baggage was searched by hand 3 times. I was particularly amused by the German police woman who shook and opened up all my psychomeds. haha!
And the woman with the metal detector wand was a little touchy-feely. she actually felt up my boobies (through my shirt, of course) I guess this is to find out if I'm concealing flammable fluids in my bra? I know I'm 'hot' but my boobies are not explosive!
anyways, the men got a bit of nice metal detector action in their inseam area, so at least it wasn't sexist or anything. love those germans-- no shame about touchyfeely security screenings.sending y'all more chocolate and virtual gummibears

Honey, if I had that happen, they'd still be peeling me off the ceiling, and I'd have to be kept in a dark room for several weeks with a cool cloth over my eyes!
lol The theme this week seems to be "Let's All Touch Racer!" First massage therapy -- "OK, I'm here for the massage therapy -- just don't touch me" -- and then my physical terrorist started something new where he straps my leg to his waist to pull on my hip as he moves my leg around. The first time, I nearly chewed my leg off to get away.
Sure, I could handle having my brusten checked for contraband. And monkeys could fly out of my
But I don't want to finish that sentence, you know? ;-D
I'm glad you had such a great trip. Did you feel like a Racer on the autobahn? But I'm even more glad you're back...

I didn't feel like a racer. I felt more like a "Glydin", actually. Very calm, smooth, heavy car. responsive. super cool! "Racer" involves competition, but I wasn't competing against anyone. Just trying to master my fear of driving. and I think it was really good for me.
I'm glad I'm back too :) I missed my babble-time :o)

Ich schenke Dir einen virtual Lindt Schokoladetafel mit Kakaosplittern aus reinen Kakaobohnen. Hat ein bisschen Knack, schmeckt ausgezeichnet!!-ll :o)

Hi Falls,
I ate Eis everyday! sometimes we went to the Eiscafe (the ice-cream parlor), and one of my friends is a true Eis-addict. He gets this sparkle in his eyes and asked us at least once a day if we wanted an Eis.his personal favorite combination is a combination of coffee, chocolate and chocolate chip flavored ice creams (german ice creams, which are similar to american ice creams) and shaved chocolate curls, a little whipped cream (Schlagsahne) and crunchy toffee bits. on top, about a tablespoon or so of Bailey's cream liquer. not a humongous American-sized sundae, but very decadent!
The Eiscafes in Germany are mostly run by Italians, who make their own homemade gelato. Often it's possible to g!et 25 different flavors. delicious!! I got an amaretto sundae, which had vanilla, cappuccino, chocolate and amaretto gelato. crunchy bits of crushed almond cookies, some amaretto liquer, and whipped cream on top. WOW!
its 8 am, and I've got the Eis craving already!
uh oh!!

Maybe I take too much sometimes which is probably not so wise but force me at least to exercise.
This is the end of the thread.
