I remember spending most of the day worried about my colleagues who would would take the PATH trains from Jersey to the WTC terminal and walk to work from there. Turned out I was the last one to report in, it took me so long to get home that day and I was in such a state of shock it never occured to me to call in. None of my colleagues were injured.
All the conspiracy theories about how the towers were intentionally destroyed, imploded with explosives as a lot of buildings are demolished these days, make me so angry. Like you described in the timeline, I can still see in my mind's eye the west side of the North Tower peeling away from the collapsing building as if someone was peeling a banana. That's not how it works with a controlled implosion.
Thanks for sharing, Scott

Scott, I was really moved by the pictures on your site and the story about your father. I'm so glad for you that he survived.

Thanks.
:-)
The doctor found a spot on one of my father's lungs last month. After several x-rays and a PET scan, it was determined not to be cancer. He did not have this spot previous to 9/11. It is most likely a scar resulting from his breathing in the dust in the debris cloud from the collapse of the south tower, which occurred only minutes before he exited the north tower. He was covered with this dust when he arrived by boat ferry to New Jersy. They hosed him off with water before allowing him to leave the terminal.
