Most of you in here have probably visited this chat site but, I have to say that because there are no rules, it's total chaos!!!!!!!!! I found most people in there very hostile, racist, homophobic, rude and extremly messed up. There was minimal support and loads of abuse accompanied with alarming put downs. I think that they are hurting so bad that they don't know anyway other way to express themselves other than to be totally toxic an full of venom, it's really, really sad. I just wanted people to know that if you go looking for an alternative this is the safest place on the web for people who suffer from ailments like we do. I also tried to reach out to a few but was slammed back into my box. You can't help someone who doesn't want help. I'd also like to thank all of you in here and Dr Bob for making this such a safe, friendly and supportive enviroment. Just don't even bother wasting your time investigating, it could seriously trigger you or leave you feeling sick to the stomach like it did to me. I hope they find happiness one day like I have in here!! Don't worry peoples, I didn't tell a single one of them about babble, love you guys, Paul

That is a sweet thing to say. I thank you, too. We here seem to have an uncanny ability to control our emotions in a civil manner. After all, we can't blame other's for our shortcomings. That is just not healthy.

that Dr. Bob wants us to be careful about what we post about other sites where Babblers might be likely to post.
I could be wrong, but that's my recollection.

I don't really remember the policy change that well, or it's applicability.
However, there's also a new rule that requests for civility rulings on specific posts should be made by babblemail or email to Dr. Bob or the deputies. I just want to make that a friendly heads up, because it's a new rule, and I'm not sure if you're aware of it.

Nawww. Dr. Bob rarely updates them. Maybe he should put a box at the top of each board when he does.

You didn't do anything wrong, you're just unaware of how very hard we try not to make anyone feel bad here. It was apparent you were trying to be supportive of this site. The thing is, you just never know when somebody here may frequent the site you were talking about.
I think we've all had to learn that anytime you say something negative about a group of people, there could be somebody reading who takes it personally. Words can be interpreted in so many different ways. You're certainly not the first person to be told that you may want to rethink your words. I know I've been told! Most of us have. Its just a way to try to keep our little haven safe. So don't take offense, okay?
