haha- I MAY have a hand towel. If it's overnight guests, I always forget to think about this. Inevitably the only clean one is shredded and has a few bleached spots.
oh well. I ususally don't bother having anyone spend the night over unless they can "deal with it" you know?

In a sense. I never use my hand-towel (just use the bath towel instead), so it essentially functions as a guest towel.

Yes, and yes.
I think it would be silly to have guest towels and *not* let them use them. Unless another alternative is easily available.

I don't think we have guest towel sort of guests. Hmmm... Our guest bathroom is also our son's. The handtowels are always quite clean, and our guests just share.

I did a few times-- and then I noticed that no one used the guest towels.
And then I would leave them there, and they would kind of sit there and eventually fall onto the floor, and I'd get annoyed and wash them.
So now I don't put them out.
I do try to have only a couple of clean regular towels, and I also have some paper towels, so people can use that.

And I'll provide towels *laughing*
We live in a small one bed flat (aka apartment!) (quite alot under 500 sq ft, around the 300 mark *l*).. we have a bedroom, with en-suita bathroom.. toilet in a seperate room (which has a hand towel next to the sink), lounge and a tiny kitchen.. No where to put guests = no need for guest towels :)
