Calling All Angels

Posted by Joan797 on September 27, 2006, at 9:09:18

It's a song by "Train". Lovely little ditty. You should try it sometime. It sometimes lifts me up, and sometimes brings me down. But a recent little bird sent me an e-mail that made me think of that song. For myself and for her.

Clearskies....I'm here. I'm occassionally lurking, and even less often posting. doesn't mean I'm gone, and doesn't mean I've forgotten. Just means I'm trying to conserve my time. children, new job, cleaning up parental estate has got me busier than a bee in an orchard. but I still remember and not a day goes by that I don't thank the Lord I met you, and realize that your friendship means a lot to me. I have internet access at work, since I have three teenagers at home, I have no internet access there....they do, but I don't. I promise...hand over my heart.......that I will do better to post occassionally, and answer e-mails. And even have plans for a new, mind boggling, warm fuzzy, pat yourself on the back post....see below.

SAW..........my beautiful friend.....where are you???????????? Send me a line sometime, I miss the heck out of you.......worried, is what I am.

Damos.........what can I say.....we are two peas in a dirty rotten pod, just deperately trying to not turn brown and moldy from our surroundings..... You are missed as well....terribly.

Just Plain Jane.........You cannot dissappear ..........we haven't solved the meaning of life yet......

To be continued..........I have to work......

You are so sweet, Joan. Seeing your post brought a genuine smile to my face, not the yes-I've-been-in-line-for-ten-minutes-now-and-my-face-has-frozen-in-this-grin.

Which is worse, pretending to smile or just downright scowling???
I tend to do the later.........

fake smiling vs. sincere scowling.

depends...

on whether you're Martha Stewart or Josef Stalin?

There is a time and a place for all facial expressions. I like to practice mine in front of a mirror and take digital photos of me in my wierdness. I really want to learn how to raise my R. eyebrow. I've been working on it for a decade now, and I still look vaguely paraplegic when I attempt this grimace.
