I'm sorry you feel bad about the post, capricorn.
You don't need to-- from my point of view.
I don't know if you have cognitive deficits-- or if you expect too much of yourself- or if your struggles are more related to anxiety or other emotions--
but I can identify with those feelings, and fears, or concerns.
They aren't trivial, or embarrassing-- you may be very good at things you care about and less good at things you don't care about--
eventually, I came to feel that it was less important to be 'talented'--especially in general, or at everything-- and more important to find things you want to do, and work on them as much and as consistently as you can.
Finding where your strengths and interests lie-- is much more important than how one does overall in school.
Your contributions here are valued.

But it can be scary and difficult to open up on an internet forum. I've noticed you've been doing that more recently. I hope it feels safe here for you to do so.

Take care,

Cognitive deficits?
If I say that many of us have them, I'm not therefore saying that your concerns are trivial.
All of us have strengths and weaknesses.
Normal life, to say nothing of the other sort, is an accumulation of wisdom and damage.
Don't even start on the toxic effects of environment.
What is important is that we can state our feelings freely and get on with each other.
Here endeth the lesson.
This is the end of the thread.
