I don't even want to say why. Something stupid. I just need some reasurance that I'm not a total loser who will never have a normal relationship with anyone ever. I feel like a freak of nature who will never get it completely together. Sure things are alot better than they were, but its still so far from normal.

two truths to be let in on:
1). nobody ever completely gets "it" together
and
2). normal is a setting on a washing machine or a dishwasheryou're going to be okay TC. you're no freak or loser. save that energy you're using to berate youreslf to be kind to youreslf instead.

It doesn't matter why, all that matters is that you are upset and need some comfort - ((Texaxchic)). You are not a total loser or a freak. What is normal anyway? I think it is just some abstract concept that we toss around so that we can judge others and use as an excuse to point fingers. As for having it all together, I bet if you asked a bunch of people to swear on a bible that they had it all together, most, if not all, would be hard pressed to do so. We are a work in progress - all of us. We all have our quirks and idiocyncracies and our fears and insecurities and our strengths and weaknesses. One day you will meet someone who will love you for the person you are, whether you have it all together or not, and then that's when it will be "normal".
Hang in there, ok. Take care.

I know this is about 75% hormonal, but knowing that doesn't make the feeling stop. I picked up my birth control pills the other day and haven't found them since, which is pretty typical me. And whenever I miss a few days I seem to have a PMS meltdown. There's definitely a connection between hormones, seratonin, depression and all that. Someday they'll announce it and you'll go, hey, TexasChic said that a long time ago.
I've been trying really hard to stay positive, but sometimes the reality of what my life is (or isn't) just flashes in my face. And then it just seems so not worth the bother. Why does trying to be happy have to be so freaking hard???

I feel much better today. I just had something last night trigger an 'I hate myself episode'. But things are looking better today. When I get off at 4 today I'm going to go work out. I just have to keep plugging along I guess. Thanks everybody!
And 10derHeart, yours really made me feel good! How do you know you're older than me?

... so I loved it that you described me as real and open and lovely. It just made me smile and feel good. I always figure I come off as obnoxious and childish. But then, maybe I've been told that too many times without questioning the voracity of the person it was coming from. I'm just now barely starting to believe that just because someone can't handle my intensity and ultra-emotional personality, doesn't mean I'm the one that needs to change.
Okay, I'm getting too introspective here. I can't wait until I get moved and can start seeing a T again. This is the type of thing I would discuss.
