Is that the one with Matthew Perry and the guy from the West Wing? I think that conflicts with something else that one of us watches (hubby or me), so I've not seen it. It's that good?

I like the show and I think it's getting better, but I don't believe it's been met with rave reviews or anything.
But...the link is to a song that was performed on last week's Christmas show. It's the song (O Holy Night) that I can't get enough of. Can't seem to stop listening to it. Anyway, it was performed by musicians from Louisiana and it went along with a pictorial tribute to the city of New Orleans. Maybe you had to see it, I don't know, but I think it's a lovely rendition.

Hi Laurie,
Studio 60 is on my If I'm not home, I must record it list. I think it's very well written. The Louisiana tribute was really good.

It made me cry.
Not that that's a big challenge right now. Nearly everything seems to make me cry. :) Sometimes it's downright funny what I'll cry over.

I agree it's very well written, but I believe I've ruined every new show I've enjoyed by reading televisionwithoutpity.com. I love the site and find the recaps of shows quite amusing, but they aren't kidding about the "without pity" part.
Anyway, I'm still crossing my fingers that it doesn't get cancelled.

Oh my...I bawled my eyes out.
> Not that that's a big challenge right now. Nearly everything seems to make me cry. :) Sometimes it's downright funny what I'll cry over.Me too! It's gotten unbelievable and has been the topic of several sessions in a row. I stopped taking Cymbalta and touched a few nerves in therapy, and I haven't stopped crying since. Today, my holiday party for work was at a movie theater (yes, you heard me). We watched Deck the Halls with Matthew Broderick and Danny DeVito. I worked really hard to hold tears back at the end. And seriously, it wasn't a movie worth crying for.
And don't get me started on commercials and game shows. My husband thinks I'm a dork.
Sorry the tears are coming so easily for you ((((Dinah)))). I always have a shoulder for you, if you need one.
Laurie
