Happy Birthday fellow Rooster. This means of course that I know how old you are, but I won't tell.
Hope you have/had a great one.

Thanks, everyone.
My favourite ice cream is not-butterscotch. Anything else will do, especially if it's cookie dough (currently in the freezer).
I didn't tell anybody (I was outed elsewhere) because I'm somewhat ambivalent about this one, the big 5-oh. I'm a little surprised by it, but it matters, even though I don't feel a day over 49.
And yes, I'm an Aries rooster. A metal rooster, as I recall. Thanks for reinvigorating that memory of Babblefest 2006.

Are you adjusting?

I hope you had a wonderful day. About 50--maybe it's because I'm 40, but I'm starting to like these round number birthdays. 50 seems very cool. Wise. Distinguished. Still youthful and energetic, but with more intention and grace than when we were younger?
Now we'll see how I feel at 41, and you can let us know how 51 is. Somehow, 31 was worse than 30, so I'm going to be a bit leery of the next one.
Anywhoo, Happy birthday (belated)

I think 60 is great. I think my T is 60, though I'm not sure. He's just fab at whatever age he is, but if he's 60, he's even cooler, as are you.

Best, best birthday wishes to you, Lar. Sorry I'm late. Keeping up with Babble boards/threads is overwhelming at times.
Yep, a metal rooster....now I do remember. It was fun walking through that place, wasn't it? I have already forgotten what mine was.... and some other stuff I wanted to remember :-( Maybe because the stupid pain in my foot that day interfered with my brain filing memories away properly. ouch.
Wow, it just hit me, how terribly ironic to have foot pain in a shoe museum!
ps - mmmmmm....ice cream....mmmm....
