First of all- this IS a social post, because I think smoothies should be enjoyed socially. A single smoothie is a lonely smoothie. Of course all my recipes can be drunk in a single giant (yum!) serving.
I've got the blues smoothie
1 scoop whey powder (about 10-15 grams)
1 scoop instant milk ('cause I'm too depressed to go out and keep buying real milk to have it spoil)
1 cup cold water
1 cup mixed frozen fruits (must include blueberries to be a BLUEs smoothie)
1Tbsp ground flaxseed meal (at the healthfood store) or flax oil if you wanna.
1Tbsp honey or sugar or something to make life sweeter.blend enjoy in a plastic cup because I'm too depressed to do dishes right now. Rinse out the blender immediately and that's the clean-up
******************
green Tea smoothie2Tbsp powdered green Tea. I like Instant Green Tea Beverage Mix by TeaTech. or you can use japanese style powdered green tea enough to make 16 oz liquid tea.
1 cup vanilla yogurt (or use plain and use sweetener of your choice)
Ice cubes to your likingapproaches the nibbana of the green tea frappucino
***********
avocado smoothieesounds gross, right? WRONG! the avocado provides a luscious silky creamy texture and the color is absolutely yummy. but you better like the color of avocados!
1 ripe avocado peeled and seeded (or not, if you are truly experimental...)
ice cubes
sugar or sweetener of your choice to taste
Some milk to get things going.Serve with a dallop of whipped cream if you want to be truly decadent.
***********
that's all :)
happy smoothie weather!

LOL, Is it really smoothie season? LOL I think we should call it "rocky" season, how about vodka and cranberry juice on the rocks! LOL
I think the green tea smoothy sounds wonderful, I might want to add fresh mint to it maybe.(maybe a ground up xanax too) But what a great idea! I am going to the store this weekend if I can get my *ss of the pc, and I will buy some of the ingredients. :-)One of my fav. mixed drink smoothies is Calibu rum (coconut flavored) and pineapple juice , YUM!
Besides this thread should stay here because my T believes in getting a buzz every now and then and he likes yogurt too. :-)

so does a ground up .25 zanax = a shot of alochol? oh, yeah zanaz lasts up to 8 hours, kinda like Motrin take away the pain. So thats why you don't need to mix the two! ;-)
p.s. I think I will work in the study center at the univ. this summer to help with my sh*tty spelling. or is it spealing ? or is it sh*ty? lol

So, I'd have to find my blender, take it to the carwash and blast out whatever has settled in it?
Or, get in my truck and go to Sonic, Dairy Queen, or Starbucks(wearing a huge hat and huge sunglasses) and let them make it for a small fee.
At least if I buy one I won't have to throw the blender away instead of washing it, so it's actually cheaper to, say, visit all three in a row.
Done!! (I'm really depressed--why doesn't Starbucks deliver those mocha frapps?)
Your's sound great Llurpsie, I just can't get out of bed.
