Catching up

Posted by scratchpad on May 20, 2007, at 18:18:44

It feels like we've been away forever, doesn't it? And so strange to come back up and not have, like, thousands of posts to read.

My migraine stopped. I'm on Zonegran to prevent them, and it doubles as a mood stabilizer (fingers crossed). I have another 4 weeks before I'm up to a full dose but I'm quite hopeful so far. This bout of headaches ranks right up there with my personal record of Really Bad Clusters of migraines. Ain't seen one of those since near 'round to 32 years ago. Yee, dawgy! (or whatever Jed Clampett would have to say about it.)

I'm back up to 60mg of Cymbalta. My anxiety went poof! when I restarted it.

I appreciate being able to stay in touch with so many via email, that helped a lot.

It was nice to have Psych Central to be able to touch base with others from here.

and

It is so good to be back home at babble.

It does feel like home, doesn't it? I was over at PsychCentral a little bit too, and just couldn't get used to the different feeling. Something about posting styles or something is just different here, and makes me feel comfortable or at home. Not saying one site is better than the other, just that I feel more comfortable posting here.

Same here was very confused at the way the site is structured. And sp cymbalta gets rid of your anxiety? Seriously no more xanax? Love Phillipa

I still have .25mg of Xanax for the night time to help me relax for sleep. While I was without Cymbalta I needed 1 mg and felt crummy at that. It was an immediately felt benefit when I restarted, even at 30mg of Cymbalta.

Sp boy we're all different as the first time I took it it did nothing at up to 60mg for months and then the second time felt like my head would expload as I couldn't cry. Had to go off at that point. I think if you trust the doc it helps. I didn't trust the second one. Love Phillipa

you're feeling so good (or is it well? either way, it's a good thing, no?).

now, if you're not using those xanax, why not send some my way? (oh, i'm only kiddin, unless you're considering it.. then...)

and it is good to be 'home', isn't it? i can't navigate myself around pc for anything. i'm lucky enough to sign in, let alone try to post anything or find anyone there.

i'm getting hug crazy for some odd reason, you mind if i feel you up while i'm at it? now sexie pie, i promise, i'll do it with all due respect...

(((sexiepie))) see, it was just a small feel-up. and here's to feeling good. ((((feeling good and feeling-up))))

Neurologist. I have a pdoc appointment next week and I'm wondering what to tell him. "You're an idiot!" comes to mind. I really like this neuro guy, and he wrote the scrip for the Cymbalta. He just seemed to get the whole chemistry problem, you know??

It would be nice to get rid of the pdoc since I have no faith in him at the moment. But I'm feeling rather impulsive after having my moods and brains cells knocked around like so many little soccer balls.
