Hi All,
All I have to do is put food into the cooler from the fridge & plant a few plants that are mournfully waiting on my patio!
This is the first time I've been ready ahead of time.
I probably won't be reading any posts until I'm back (June 30th).
I'm feeling quite lovingly detached from my son, so that goes a LONG way in how I'll enjoy my holiday.
I'm feeling excited & pretty darned good!!!!!!
I give everyone hugs.
luv, Kath

> luv, KathHi Kath...
Have a good and safe (there are rattlesnakes and bears to watch out for) time. That's why I never go camping up near Georgian Bay, because of my fear of snakes.(They are limited to that area...thankfully.) One time when I was up on the Bruce Pennisula on the Bay, during a walk in the woods I saw a HUGE rattlesnake spread out on a large rock in a pond. So be careful, and have fun :)
Jay
P.S. I am going down to the Pinery in August. I love this park because of beautiful, clean Lake Huron, and there are no bears or rattlesnakes (I know..I'm a suck, eh?..heh)

Yo Jay,
Hi - hey, hubby & I are camping at the Pinery in August also!Isn't is gorgeous?! We've been going every year for YEARS.
Thx for the safety words. I always 'walk loud' so any rattlers have the chance to vamoose, which apparently, they prefer to do rather than biting!
I didn't see any snakes except the regular water snake who is at the very same place each year! He goes down the shore earlier in the day & in the early evening returns!!! I got him on film this year! 2 times!
No bears either. Everyone has their fears. I'm scared of bears but I still go to Killbear. Now, I would NOT feel okay about 'canoe-in' camping where you go where the bears actually LIVE!!! and have to hang your food way up high so bears can't eat it!!!
I'll write more probly tomorrow.
hugs, Kath
