Aww, thanks! I'm in a pretty safe area as far as flooding is concerned. But yesterday it rained and the wind blew so hard I was actually scared! It broke the pretty, purple, glass wind chime I had just put up on the patio.
I got my cat's carrier out of the closet just in case there was a tornado. I figure if I don't put him in it he would claw me and I wouldn't be able to get him to a safe place. So that's my tornado plan: put Kitty in the carrier, grab a blanket, purse and shoes (in that order as time permits), and run downstairs to the ground floor and bang on the doors and hope someone will let me in.
But its sunny and hot today! Its weird it hasn't gotten above 95° yet and its mid July! That's what the rain has done for us. But its still pretty freaking hot. There's regular hot (today), sweltering (upper 90's to 102° or so) and "I'm melting, I'm melting, what a world, what a world!" (103+). That's how I rate it anyway.

Maybe you're getting all the rain!
Our grass is brown. It's been probably the driest summer I've known. I do NOT like rain, so it's ok with me.
Lately it's changing also, because it'll shower, then sun, & do that a few times during the day. I like that MUCH better than 3 days of rain.
