Help - Need Sneaky Hiding Place Thingy

Posted by Fivefires on September 27, 2007, at 20:31:03

I have everything from passwords 2 DNR 2 my will in pute, and now on little 2" x 1" thing. And, I have a little 1" x 1" cartridge to take about 150 names&numbers off my cell and put them on a CD. Butt, I can't find it! I hid it somewhere! Forget where! Too many hiding places o_o!

Where can I hide these sort of things? (Maybe need hide checks and titles as well.)

Any1 know of a good thing to buy for hiding such things???

No .. cannot afford bank lockbox.

No .. do not want to buy a steel cash type box for these sort of things.

Yes .. do want something which looks like a simple food container or picture or something WHICH IS SO NOT OBVIOUSLY a hiding place.

And, nahhhh, not 'the dictionary' idea.

U all always have the greatest ideas. Pls share. I won't tell, or rob you, tehee haha.

Oh! And, is a lockbox w/ a key easier to pick than a lockbox w/ a combination lock? I need to buy a new one in which to keep my medications. Had only one key, hid it and forgot where I hid it, and had to pry open old steel cash box and broke it :{

ps: Do not live in a house. Live in a condo. Cannot dig in wall, floor, or ceiling.

I can't stop hiding things! I hide things even when there is no one here to hide them from!

Don't do it. You are liable to forget and donate it to charity!

Hi 5F,

I keep important papers in the refrigerator in a plastic envelope, because logically in case of fire the inside of the refrigerator won't burn. Same thing with good (such as I have) jewelry it goes in a plastic food container. Not a clear one, a solid color one so no one can see what's in it.

I don't think you should keep a tape or CD in the refrigerator, so maybe in a kitchen cabinet in a plastic container?

I used to do so when dating a certain person who seemed to like to 'borrow'(?) some of my meds. It became a habit. Streets these are worth lots of money.

There are still peeps in this town and in my life who would possibly take some, if could.

tks, 5f

Never thought of fridg as fire resistant b4; thanks so much Poet.

I know I've seen soda cans that actually aren't soda; open up and you can put things in them. It was at some kind of 'spyware store' somewhere.

Afa meds in keyed or pad-locked or combination cash box, pretty sure wouldn't forget & donate to charity (Yikes!), as I open the box every few days. I keep it beneath side of bed which I sleep on. I also put my car title, birth cert, and cc of SS card in here. Actually, my original SS card should probably be in there.

I looked at 'safes' in an office store and they are terribly heavy. I wish they'd make one which was the size of a cash box, but didn't weight 20x as much!

I remember during Katrina I thought to myself 'those poor people w/o their daily meds are going through a kind of suffering over and above their already tragic situation'.

I keep birthcert, SScard, car title, meds, and med labels in one, or did until I broke it.

I'll look online for a spyware(?) store o_o or something.

What would be perfect would be a condiment disguised as a condiment(?), larger than a soda can, like maybe a mayo jar, in which to keep private or expensive items.

No pute disks, little things w/ chips to hold pute files, cell phone cartridges, or pills prob' can go in fridg, unless in very well-sealed unit.

Wonder why some peeps keep batteries in their fridgs?

I guess I can understand putting ink cartridges in there in going away from printer for a while.
