Don't worry, I don't plan on calling an ambulance any time soon. lol
I'm just curious because it was brought up in this other forum.
I rode an ambulance once when I OD'd. I got billed for $45. If it wasn't medically necessary I would have been billed $240.
I seem to remember reading that for other people ambulance rides costs a lot more.
Just curious, how much are they where you live?

i dont know how much.
There was this nut just actually 2 days ago said "riding in an ambutlance is 20,000$" i was like please stop being informative becuase this info is really new to me!
Its not. I dont know really much it costs deneb.
Ill call 911 and ask.

got a bill for 700 after car accident...
couldn't pay it and maybe more than that it was the 'principle' of it cause I needed no 02 or anything and it was only 9 miles. Maybe if I thought it was reasonable I would have arranged payments but....anyway they eventually dropped it...I guess..

$550 for me ... city fire department, and I was about to die from a freak intestinal problem.

They file for medicaid if they don't already have it. Fortunately for me, the SSA agreed with me that I had a disability that kept me from working and I got a check for 1 year in arrears of benefits just before the bill was 6 months overdue.
Then again, if it's a municipal service that screws you over like they did me, you can always give your story to the incumbent mayor's opponent for the next election.
