Thanks everyone!
I did have a wonderful day. Thursday is my day off from work - so that worked in my favor.
I scheduled a haircut, then a facial and did some Christmas shopping. At the mall, while buying some makeup for my daughter, the sales person said, "you have a daughter old enough to wear make-up?". Granted, she was just doing her job being nice and all, but I smiled.
My husband and kids took me out to dinner. And they chose the restaurant based on the dessert ... now that's thinking! We had a giant hot fudge cream puff to share and the plate was swimming in fudge ... yum yum.
The day would be perfect if "Grey's Anatomy" was on tonight, but someone told me it wasn't.
It was so nice seeing all the happy messages. Last year was so stressful with my business moving locations at this exact time of year. Deep exhale. So glad that is behind me.

It was a re-run according to my paper. I didn't actually look at it to make sure. It's re-run season now that Nov. sweeps are over. This one was scheduled to be an encore of the first episode of this season.

Ah yes, the rerun. Staple of holiday season.
And of course, with the writers strike we'll likely have a lot more of them, as well as of a lot of reality shows. :(
