In 2007 these people died:
We've lost ...Molly Ivins and Lady Bird Johnson
Barbaro and Washoe
Beverly Sills and Luciano Pavarotti
Kurt Vonnegut and Kurt Waldheim
Arthur Schlesinger and David Halberstam
Jerry Falwell and Tammy Faye Messner
Charles Nelson Reilly and Merv GriffinL. M. Boyd and Johnny Hart
Porter Wagoner and Ike Turner
Robert Goulet and Dan Fogelberg
Laura Huxley and Jane Wyman
Wally Schirra and "Evel" Knievel
Tom Poston and Larry "Bud" Melman
Mr. Wizard and Mr. Whipple
Yvonne De Carlo and Carlo Ponti
why wouldn't one be enough?
why would death have to take both?
so.

That is a LOT of deaths!
I don't know what it means about me that I don't recognize most of them....maybe that I don't have a TV? or live in a self-absorbed bubble???

it's that i am old(er).i had scanned a list of notable 2007 deaths.
it was Much longer.you would have to be at least 50 to know who Mr. Whipple was.
at least 55 to know who Mr. Wizard was.
every name there is in Wikipedia.

( i have forgotten whether we may build hyperlinks into our posts here.)

Yeah - a comedy one might be good, but people sometimes post jokes or funny stuff here at Social & that's probably better.
I must live a sheltered or boring life or something. I'm 60 so I qualify to recognize those names but I don't.
