for the past couple of days....I think I feel less depressed, maybe a little more grounded, maybe even more motivated
I don't want to jinx it, but I figured I'd record a state of mind that was a little brighter

I am trying to catch up reading posts as I've been offline for quite a while.
I am SO glad you're feeling somewhat better. Was concerned when I read a post of how awful you were feeling.
Please be kind & gentle with yourself.
Maybe you can do something special for yourself today. Or take your 'inner child' to the dollar store & let her choose something SHE likes!
Once when I was doing inner child work, I was in the pharmacy & saw a very glittery sort of garrish butterfly hair barette. A part of me thought OH WOW. The adult part thought - JEEZ.
But I bought it & clipped it onto a house plant where it could catch the sunlight!
