Out of curiousity how do you amuse or fill the rainy day times. So much rain and without kids not much too do as not a millionaire and can't keep shopping. So advise for rainy day weather. Phillipa

PJ, don't go shopping. Shopping means going out of the house, and besides is demoralising. I come back from shopping hating myself and the world. I'm always grateful for rain, because it gives me a good excuse to do nothing. What you should do is listen to music (unless you can play it). Baroque music is good, but here is some Eno.

They look the same to me, but I've checked.

Maybe your malls are better than ours?
I once went to the Gold Coast, a tacky development near here with names like Florida Keys, and went to the Big Brother House (the one on TV!).
The friend I was with amused me by saying, just as we were almost through the house...
'We should all be put to death'

I am unable to do without.
I enjoyed the clothes they wore in Japan. The men wore boots with absurdly long pointy toes with silver wrapped around the top of the boot.
So there's something to be said for clothes.
But not a lot.
I like to wear my clothes until they fall apart.

Same here and my husband the same. But I had to buy four shorts outfits for summer and that's it. Love PJ
