And I'm ready to be home!! I'm sick of noise and movies and crummy hotel pillows. I want to stretch out in the peace and quiet of my living room with my pets as snugglies.

>Ugh - I know the feeling (I usually get it within five minutes of being at my in-laws!). Lately I have taken to keeping a vial of lavender essential oil with me to have a whiff of when I'm feeling most put-off. It helps a bit. (anything that smells good and comforting will do)

I never really understood people that enjoyed living in a place that turns boogers black...

Where is this place that has crummy pillows?
I had a terrible pillow in Hanoi.
It was the worst pillow in the world, and a hazard to the neck.
OTOH there was splendid colonial architecture.

I love that feeling of being comfy cozy snuggling with my babies when I get home. It almost makes leaving worth it.
Of course, a few hours shopping can give me the same sort of reaction when I get home. :)

I totally understand being homesick Jammer. I went on a day trip to Boston last year and I was homesick on the bus ride there! Hope you feel better and have some fun.

Your post made me think of decades ago when I lived in England & travelled to London by train to work daily.
Literally, if I blew my nose, the kleenex was gray!!!!
Yikes
Where is Jammer, that the air is so bad?

Kath, I've been away since April 22nd. It feels like ages! I was in NYC, but now I'm in D.C. Hopefully my boogers will make a full recovery.
And it's no joke, the bad air does affect the color!
