I like caprioskas. Because I am a careful drinker (and usually only have one) it is important to make it strong enough to resist the temptation for more. Therefore I use
*3oz vodka
*One lime muggled (muggled? Bashed with the end of a rolling pin, but only use half the skin or it is too much)
*1 tsp palm sugar
*lots of ice
Shake in a cocktail thingamujig and pour into a glass.
Drink rapidly to enjoy the brief effect.

Maybe it's "muddled"? I don't know, but with your description, I get the idea!
Thanks for the recipe. Maybe when I sober up a little I'll make a run to the store for limes. They'd be multipurpose as I have tequila, too!
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor!

One experience with Tequilla in Acapulco. Went to the Men's Room instead of Ladies Room. Boy was it strong. Love Phillipa

I remeber those times when I was happy (haha) drinking tequila with salt and lemon in the beergarden with friends.
That was nice and quick too. There was this theory in 1972 that tequila was hallucinogenic, which was a good excuse.
Later I even managed to score some Coca Buton.

(You can practice your Spanish)
There was a good excuse to drink that one quickly too. And it was a beautiful green colour.

This
>La distillazione elimina la molecola della cocaina
is consistent with my experience though not my belief (at the time) and expectation.
I assumed there was not a lot in it and whopped into it and (as I recall) quite enjoyed myself.

Tequila: I've never had a "bad time" drinking it. I have, however, been unable to stand up, walk and make intelligible sounds while drinking it. Looking back on those occasions I guess you could come to the conclusion that the friends that I was drinking with, had a very "bad time".
Vodka: I recently had a vodka tonic in celebration of my friendship with a woman who is now 95 and has alzheimers. We always met in the afternoon, after I got off work, and she had a martini and I had the Vt. It didn't go down so "good"......and I felt awful afterwards. I think that the emotional issues that I attached to it made it impossible to enjoy it like I anticipated I could. Dorothy won't talk to me on the phone now because she can't remember who I am. So, I'm probably off of vodka for the rest of my life.Tequila, we'll see.

I had an old friend who drank black coffeee with salt (no sugar) first thing in the morning.
Later we would make it out to the sun and she would drink her black tea and rum and we'd sit and talk.

We always had a pan of cornbread baked (we were RURAL) and he had to have a slice of that to go with his dessert. He loved sweets, so he ate alot of that bread during his life time.
Salt in coffee? Boy, that woman was one tough cookie! However, I used to put salt on my cantaloupe.

She was tough.
She was from the bush and didn't believe in any of this anitibiotic nonsense.
If she had a wound that would not heal she'd pour metho over it.
