In reply to anybody care to dance......:-), posted by obsidian on July 8, 2008, at 21:55:55
So do you actually know this guy?
I love the way his dance is the same everywhere. I especially liked the ones where he was dancing with kids. Kids seem to have an innate ability to dance, and they are alway SO happy when they do it!

That's EXACTLY how it effected me! I was thinking as I watched that I couldn't remember anything that made me laugh and cry at the same time.-T

My daughter graduated from the University of Illinois (I know, you're happy for me) last year. The keynote speaker was this young (and fabulously rich) alumnus Steve Chen who co-invented YouTube (after he helped to invent PayPal). Anyway, amoung the many inspiring things he imparted on the young minds in the arena was the idea that there are no experts when it comes to invention and experts are often wrong. Then he said that people frequently ask him who is his favorite YouTuber to which he announced - Matt the dancer. With this on the huge screen behind the stage Matt appeared wishing all of the graduates congratulations. Matt then asked everyone to rise and do a dance along with him. Thousands of graduates and gowned professors danced unabashedly with Matt for 5 minutes. I've been in many a stuffy graduation exercise for myself and my family. This one will always be remembered by all in attendence as the most inspirational of all.
