I've always known who Kanye West is..how could you miss the times that he has complained about not winning some award, somewhere??? But I've never paid serious attention to his music... I do remember what he said about blacks the night of the 9/11 concert.I admired him for his courage that night and I agreed with what he said.
I've always been a sucker for drums and bass.

I do remember what he said in the aftermath of Kartrina on a benefit program - is that what you meant?
These catastrophes do tend to run together in one's mind... :(
