Its all too much to try to explain, or maybe its too little, just a feeling bummed and anxious thing. So a little, "hey you're a good person", "we like you", or "you don't suck", would be helpful right now. I hope its okay to ask for this type of thing. I know its kind of weird. But that's me. Thanks.

Oh Deneb, you made me feel so good! Especially since I know you're going through a tough time too. Thank you! You're a good friend to me too. There's several things contributing to my overall feeling of yuckiness. But its mainly just one of those days where everything feels overwhelming and hopeless and crappy. Nothing really specific. Thanks so much for your support! It really does help.

TC, you absolutely don't suck! And you're totally cool, too! If you'd let me come visit you, I bet I'd think you're even cooler than I already do.
Hugs,
Jammer

Why would you think you're not worthy of praise from yourself? I actually enjoy reading your posts--it's not easy to put yourself out there with all the warts for everyone to see. I admire anybody who has the fortitude to lay it on the table like that. You're boat will come in one of these days---hopefully sooner than later. Old folks would tell me this(but I usually passed them off as just being old) ----"a great deal of the time---the best things come when you least expect them." In retrospect---they were pretty wise.

Thanks so much jammer! I do want to meet you, I'm just a tad nervous is all. I can't really explain why. I AM working myself up to it though, if you'll have a little patience with me. Thanks so much for your kind words!

Thanks Bobby! Do I put myself out there warts and all? :-) I guess I've always been kind of self depreciating. I figure if you can't laugh at yourself, then you're just going to go around being unhappy all the time. Besides, I do some pretty ridiculous things! Thanks so much for always putting in a kind word for me when I need it. Its greatly appreciated!

(((((TC)))))) I know how it feels to need some lovingkindness. This is a tough time for year for most people, but for those with extra challenges, it's particularly hard.
Thank you for speaking out for yourself. You're a good 'un.

Hey TC, sorry I missed your post. I'm glad you are feeling better. I don't think it's weird to ask for help or support. I do it. Unless that makes me weird too :p

You're a good person. You're a smart person.
Also kind, fun, caring, strong, upbeat.
And, may I add....a silly pickle - of course it's okay to ask for whatever support you need.
And furthermore......you set a good example to the rest of us to ask for what we need!!!!
LOVE YOU, KathPS - only have time to read your initial post right now.
oh yeah, did I say, LOVE YOU????

Nothing "weird" about it TC. I often need the same thing. I think you should really pat yourself on the back, because you have endured a lot, and came out still a good person! I wish I could follow the board a bit more. But I have a problem making it from my bed to the computer. Give yourself LOTS of self-love. :-)
Best,
Jay
