Wine and cheese for one.

Posted by jammerlich on December 31, 2008, at 19:39:25

That's the extent of my NYE plans. And it isn't even good cheese. Just Hickory Farms balls I got as a christmas gift. Yes, she said "balls." I hope Mufsta's around to appreciate it.

Oh, and the really high point will be a couple of hours from now when I try to get a dropper of antibiotics into my cat who has a UTI. That should be really fun.

I did actually get a party invite this year, but have had a stomach bug and don't quite feel 100%. Maybe the wine will kill off any germies still around? I'll drink lots to be sure.

I almost forgot it WAS New Year's Eve! I'm sick too - fighting a cold. So for me its hot tea, soup, and cold medicine. We're a couple of swinging chics aren't we?

Aren't we though? I'm pondering a NYE movie alone. Never done a movie alone. I'm slightly tipsy, but the theater is just a couple of miles away.

I have a gift certificate to spent at a store near you, just in case you're still considering meeting me. ;-) Hee hee!

And there's this kitten in my lap. She likes to help me compute. She needs a name, though. She's been pretty naughty lately, so I've considered Creepella. And also Esther, because she often overshoots her jump to the toilet seat and ends up taking an inadvertant swim (you know, Esther Williams). How are you at naming cats? Clearly I need help.

I've gone to a movie alone. At first I felt really strange, like everyone was looking at me wondering what kind of weirdo went to a movie by themselves, but once the movie started I forgot about it.
But its kind of cold out, I would suggest a movie at home.

Of course I'm still considering it! I'm just kind of lame and don't get out much.

Heh, heh, that's too funny! Actually, I'm apparently bad at naming cats because mine ended up being 'Kitty'. I like your choices though!

Well, my throat is starting to hurt, dammit, so I think I'm going to curl up on the couch and drink more tea. Sorry I'm such a boring New Year's Eve date.

That's what I'm having right now, then going to site in bed & read & probably go to sleep well before midnight! Although I've just finished my book, so depends on how good my next book is as to how late I read.

Hope you're feeling A1 really soon & glad you're taking care of yourself.

Many hugs, xoxo Kath
