... even though I'm sick as a freaking dog!!! Sore throat, cough, congestion, off and on laryngitis - the works. What a way to make a 1st impression. I'm so sick and tired of being sick!!! But the job was cool though, easy stuff. I felt like I did pretty well even though I could barely talk, and the people seem to be very easy going. I don't go back until Wed, hopefully I'll be better then. I really don't want to go spend 12 hours in the waiting room of the county hospital just to get a prescription for antibiotics, but it may come to that. I just hope no one at work gets sick because of me.

I hope you feel better quickly - being sick is awful. At least you get a day to recoup a bit.
Hurray for you.

Thanks! I got this illness from my Mom on Christmas. The doctor had told her it was bacterial and contagious, and she was so careful not to spread her germs, but I accidentally picked up her glass of tea and took a drink (thinking it was mine). I'm hoping I can fight it off.
Other than that though, work went really well. I think I will like it and be good at it. I only wish they had a full time position! But I guess you never know what's around the corner!

Thanks for letting us know!
Sorry you're sick (I take 1000's of mgs of Vit C when I'm sick & although it might not get me completely better, it does seem to help. Recently I'm taking it in capsule form & it has bioflavanoids & herbs also & seems to work better than tablets).
Hope you feel better really soon & glad you like the job! YAY.
luv, Kath

Thanks! I just spoke to my Mom and she's going to send me some more money so I can go to the doctor. Man, I owe her so much now, its going to take the rest of the year to pay her back (if I get another job that is). This has been an especially nasty illness, just about the time you think you're getting better, you get a whole new symptom.

There are some really weird 'bugs' going around, it seems. Things that go on & on & keep seeming like they're gone & then come back & as you say, sometimes a big differently.
you're in my thoughts, luv, Kath

Hey Tc...that is so excellent to hear! (About the job, that is...sorry about you being sick.) I hope it all works out for you. I found, just enjoy and the hell with everyone else..lol...seriously, though, to keep all of the "crap" away from you, don't bother with other people and just think about yourself. I know, it sounds like a terrible attitude, but it just gets all f'ed up and causes more stress any other way. Take good, good care...okay? :)

...I found out I qualify for unemployment, even with my part time job. It'll be enough to keep me afloat for a while.
Now if I can just get well!
