Topic above incredibly knowledeable answers to. Now darn how do we cope with this cold weather? What are you doing during the cold. Oh to Australians keeping cool, And Those with rain coping with lots of rain. I have cabin fever even though make a point to get out each day and even managed to ride bike dressed like a snowman with so many layers of clothes could hardly walk. Any ideas? In other words what's your secret? Love and thanks again for above. Phillipa

A little space heater..lol. My hands are so frozen trying to type.
My furnace is on 75 degrees; yet, my room temperature is 57 degrees. I hope the furnance isn't going. I had already replaced it once since I lived here. Ripped off by those damn heating and cooling guys I trusted. I had a good Rheem furnace, and they came in to clean my furnace ducts and told me there were gas leaks in the 'old' furance. Of course, now that I look back, I was an easy con, being open and answering all their questions about how long I lived in the home, etc.
I forgot about this until now that my furnace isn't working!!!
I always wanted a fireplace. Or a fake one.lol

My hands are so cold from typing that I have to shower in hot water and get on my heating pad. I do not like cold weather. Where are you? This is North Carolina supposed to be much warmer here. Burrrr. Love Phillipa
