Just got back from Georgia. Went to my Mom and Dad's 50th Anniversary(I'm a big fan). The kids and I flew down and had a blast( Nobody knew the surprize-kids or mom and dad). Anyway, 50 years ago to the day (March 1st, 1959) They got married in a big snow. Well----even with a drought---and the rarity of snow in Georgia---it snowed like crazy during the reception. I'm too tired to go into detail---but it was something special. My Dad said that Mom gets sweeter with each passing day----and that now days-it's not unusual to be married for 50 years---just unusual for it to be to the same person. I am fortunate to witness an historical, odd defying love story unfold with a front row seat. Now I should ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz

It really is special, Bobby. What a wonderful thing to have had that in your life. And for your kids to be able to experience it too. To be happy in a fifty year marriage is a real blessing that does indeed come along too often.
Very long marriages aren't all that uncommon around here. But very happy long marriages are less common.

Yes, there was global snowing in Earth's history.
For real, there is a theory that global cooling created Snowball Earth about 800 million years ago.
