Fayeroe's Memorial Page

Posted by fayeroe on March 7, 2009, at 18:58:10

I signed on to an internet support group for people who have lost a pet. I like it but I still can't call one of my pets a "fur baby". It has actually helped me to build the memorial. Sorta keeps her closer to me?

I like the memorial page. My dog's eyes are like Fayeroe's, very sweet, loving eyes. Thank god I still have her. I relate to a lot of what you wrote except I'm feeling it about my husband. I keep waiting for him to come home, to pull in the driveway or call. I can't believe he's gone either. I have fallen apart. I'm sorry about your dog. I wish you peace.

what a beautiful and loving memorial for such a wonderful companion.

If heaven is truly a place where there is boundless happiness and love, then I am convinced that we will once again be reunited with all those who have gone on before us.

Until that day, they remain strong in our hearts.

Peace and love to you.

Seldom.

Thank you so much, Seldom. The memorial page has truly helped me deal with losing her. I've met people on there who have also lost pets with no warning. Helps to talk to them.

I definitely believe that we'll see our pets again. I used to argue with my mother when I was about 6 because she didn't think you could love a pet..or want to see them again. She changed her mind after I gave her the first of many cats....:-)

Did you post on Rainbow's Bridge it's so lovely. Where I want to also go there is a singing version google and look. I have my two little dogs in urns next to my bed and I won't go anywhere without them will be buried with me. Phillipa

This site also utilizes the Rainbow Bridge theory. I've had most of my dogs cremated but couldn't afford it this time.
I understand about your wanting to keep their ashes nearby.

I went to the other one & posted a comment.

It worked fine as far as I could tell.

I'll try the 'corrected' one.

Thank you, Kath. You know before Fayeroe died I probably would have thought that the "memorial" pages were silly. Not....everytime someone signs the guestbook, I get to see her and work more on trying to get through the lonely days.

Hi Pat - I think the site is a lovely idea. I just heard a radio show today talking about grief & how in our society, we do NOT get to talk enough about our loved ones (2 or 4 legged) & how very important that is.

luv, Kath
