1. I like the treatment program I'm in, except for one co-dependent counselor.
2. The remeron is working.
3. I have melt-downs, but they are more short-lived.
4. I've gained weight and am disgusted with my appearance. My husband would've said I look great.
5. I've been busy lately, and it's nice to spend a quiet evening with my animals.
6. I met a lady whose childhood background is a lot like mine. I'm intrigued but have avoided talking to her.
7. I'm sad about Natasha Richardson. I really liked her movies.
8. I didn't really have a childhood. I still need the structure, support and guidance I didn't get.
9. I find it embarrassing when I have a hard time expressing myself.
10. I saw the movie Milk, and I think Sean Penn is one of the greatest actors around.
11. I love people who can express vulnerability, and I don't think it gives anyone the right to walk all over them.

Cass,
Sounds good. I take some Remeron too. As to #7, I don't know Ms Richardson's work. What movies was she in? No.9, I feel the same way. I do some writing now, and I express better sometimes in speech.Number 8. Yes, me to. I've decided to try to get some kind of counciling or talk therapy. Problem - no money right now. I'm going to have to move soon to cheaper diggs. I live in an expensive area of a big city.
I enjoy Sean Penn's work too. He's talented. "Falcon and the Snowman" was a good one. "Deadman Walking". "Carlito's Way".
10. In America, unfortunately, vulnerability is not prized as much as it should, IMO. So we end up with characters like a certain past President.

Hi Neal,
Natasha Richardson was in a lot of movies - Widow's Peak, The Handmaid's Tail, and a long time ago, The Patty Hearst Story. More recently she was in a remake of The Parent Trap. She was the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave.
Sean Penn was also good in Mystic River.

Yes, I haven't read the book, but the movie is based on it.
This is the end of the thread.
