That cat seemed to really enjoy feasting on the spider. I hope
it wasn't a poisonous spider as the toxins from it can harm them.xoxo

I can't read the above post or who wrote what.
I worked on my stepfathers farm for 5 years starting at 13. Seeing a 6' rattlesnake coiled up looks nothing like a friend of mine. Driving a tractor through the field, I start going around a tree with brush around it. I stirred up a nest of rattlers. I was pulling a disc with the tractor and it has sharp blades. I circled that tree till I killed all I could.
Anyway............hope I'm on topic.

Hi Phil,Yes, you're right on topic. I was just playing around about the snakes, spiders, and whatnot.
I would be terrified to encounter a nest of rattlesnakes. I've only seen them on TV as I'm very
much a city girl. Wow, what a story! 6ft long?! You must have been a brave boy to have stayed
and killed them all - I would have run! Thanks for sharing your story, Phil.
