In reply to Dinah - how's your itching??, posted by Kath on October 5, 2009, at 11:02:02
My itching is mostly better. My prednisone induced hypomania is nearly gone, and I have hopes that my perimenopausal problems will soon be gone for this time so that I can leave the house for more than an hour or two at a time.
All of it has wreaked havoc on my work though, so I'm busy trying to catch up and don't have much time right now.
All my best intentions to keep up to date seem to go unfulfilled.
Thanks for thinking of me. :)

She's written various editions of it. I suspect they're all great. My original one was older. I couldn't remember who I'd lent it to, so bought the newer one.

Hi Phillipa,
Thanks for asking. Yup. I'm doing okay. I had a really good session with my T today. I'll see if I can get around to posting about it on Psychology.
How are you Phillipa?
:-) Kath

Well, until a couple of weeks ago, it hadn't been an issue for months. Aside from a new slowing of metabolism and difficulty losing weight even though I'm not eating all that much. So I'm hoping that my trip through perimenopause will be unpleasantly intense but mercifully brief.
I'm still having trouble with sleep, but at least now I'm staying up late working instead of painting. Painting was more fun of course, but working is what I need to do.

it might be brief and mild! Hey - might as well wish for the best, right?
I didn't have much to complain of throughout peri & actual (& post for that matter).
When I'd get hot spells, I'd imagine I was on a beach (I hate being cold, so that was okay).
