My flight to Chicago got delayed because of bad weather in Chicago. Then I missed my flight to New Orleans. I tried my best, I ran.
Then I stood in the same place at customer service for about 3 hours. It must have taken 2 people an hour and a half to finish at the counter! The line wasn't moving at all! I was lucky to be at the front of the line. Then the computers went down!
Anyways, best case scenario is that I will go to Philadelphia and then from there hopefully get a flight to NO and get to NO by 9:30 PM or so. I say that is the best scenario because the lady at the counter couldn't reserve seats for that second flight for some reason.
:-(
I'm stressed out and scared at the airport. Hungry too.

OK, I feel a bit better now. I just had a really yummy pizza.
I don't think I am too scared now, just disappointed that my first day on vacation is spent all at the airport.
I just hope I get to NO today. I don't want to sleep at the airport. :-(

You'll make it. Sorry to hear about your delays. What are you going to do in Chicago?

Most of my time in Chicago was spent waiting in line in the same unmoving spot for about 3 hours, not my idea of fun. LOL
Then I had time to eat some yummy pizza and surf the web before my flight to Philadelphia.
I'm waiting in Philadelphia now. My next flight will bring me to New Orleans!
I'm so happy I got my boarding pass to NO!
It has been a day of adventure.
I'm so glad I don't have to sleep in the airport!

I'm so excited about New Orleans! It's going to be awesome!
I've forgotten to take pictures. I was all focused on the missed flight problem that I didn't stop to enjoy my surroundings.
But now I can say I've been to Chicago and Philadelphia!
Boy oh boy, lots of time changes. LOL Eastern to Central, to Eastern to Central again!

Oh no! I feel so bad for you. And we were just talking about this happening. O'Hare is the worst. I am going to try to avoid Chicago from now on.
I'm so sorry your day is spent in the airport.

I can't speak for Deneb, but I'm having a great time.
She and I are getting together again today.
I sometimes forget how easy it is to meet Babblers, because it already feels like you know each other.

I'm back home to boring Ottawa! LOL
It was so much fun! I had a blast. Dinah and Dr. Bob are great to be around.
I ate so much! I probably gained 5 pounds on my trip LOL. Now I will go back to Weight Watchers.
I come back to Ottawa and I was surprised to find out we are 31 degrees here! Yikes! It's just as hot here as it was in New Orleans except now I have no air conditioning! We are in a heat wave.

I had fun too.
But I don't think I'd like to live on bugs, even to save the planet. Mudbugs, maybe. :)
It seems so long ago...
