I fell on a pile of tiny pinecones letting my dog chase a squirrel...and scratched my wrist up on the fall. It hurts a lot...but when we were walking home i realized that some ppl might think i hurt myself on purpose. Ugh...i wonder how many ppl will think that...
Here's a pic...don't look if you'll be triggered, I think. Does it look like that?

It doesn't look like an intentional self-harm wound at all. I would assume that it's an accidental wound from gardening or something. But if you feel self-conscious, put a band-aid over it with a bit of Neosporine. You might definitely want to put a band-aid over it during showers - those scratches really sting when the stream of hot water hits it. Hope it heals soon, Rose.BTW, your dog and hamster are absolutely adorable!! Cutest little critters ever!

It looks self inflicted because the cuts go in one directions. But it is more like a scratch than a cut. But some people do scratch themselves.
However, it looks like it is on your right arm and unless you are left-handed it would not be the usual that someone would SI.
I have had a problem with cutting for years now. On the good side, I haven't cut in 8 months!
Hope your wrist heals quickly.

Congrats Maxime! Keep it up.
I put a band-aid on it on Sat. I think ppl. who aren't as familiar w/ SI might think that's what it is. A couple ppl have thought that's what it looks like. I will probably put a band aid on it again tomorrow....until it's gone.
I kind of want to trick T ... but know i shouldn't
