Hi All:
Due to some emotional distress at work, next day I went nearby Railroad track to watch those, big trains passing-by. It might be very weird, but for me Train-watch somehow calms my nerves and I've been doing this for long time, probably more than five to six years.
The police officer approached and told me that I'd get a citation of tresspass because I was in about 15 feet from the track. I explained him it's completely for the sake of my emotional health and a sort of hobby, however he told me it's unlawful to watch any train nearby and warned he'd impose against me next time.
I was totally shocked to know this, .... 'tresspass' incident.' Since I grew up in the Railroad town/city in the East-Coast, it's very natural for me to watch trains to relieve my nerves. I love trains both riding and watching.
If anyone on this board knows regarding Railroad, I'd trully appreciate any insights on this, above.
Thanks,

My guess is that for him, it may have been less of a trespassing issue- maybe it is indeed illegal, I dunno, and more about a sense of responsibility he may have had. If I encountered anyone hanging out by the train tracks I'd worry about their state of mind, and whether there was some contemplation of suicide. I may be right or wrong, but it is what would concern me. And perhaps what concerned him. You aren't surprised about that right?
This is the end of the thread.
