Can't say personally about remeron. But, for zoloft and prozac in particular, I noticed some marked decreases in "ritualized, compulsive behaviors" (never diagnosed as OCD, tho) when I started taking SSRIs ... in particular, a complete drop in the sorts of delaying tactics I had for doing work, paying bills, etc.

It made a huge difference for me ... I hope you find something that works as well.
