i used topamax in conjunction with effexor XR. it seemd to balance me out somehow - very hard to put into words but it seemed to augment the effexor well.

i wouldn't think it could be used as an anti-depressant but then what do i know... we're all so different...

however, i definitely experienced "stupidity" and eventually went off it because it bothered me so much.
