When I took increased doses of Effexor (450mg/day) and when I take Effexor after about 2 in the afternoon now (150mg/day, usually with breakfast), my legs will ache at night like I need to get up and move them around. It can be very unpleasant.
For some people, sustained release may be just the ticket. However, I welcome the fact that regular Effexor, if I take it with breakfast, has worn off quite a bit by the time I go to bed in the early evening; it basically eliminates the achy leg problems and the general buzzing.
