Whoever told you that Celexa can't make you tired is retarded. Celexa can have sedating properties although it tends not to be as sedating as Paxil. Most of the side effects you are experiencing will disipate withing a few weeks. If after two weeks, you are still very tired, I would switch meds. If you can't tolerate the Celexa then you will not be able to increase the dosage and you will not get the full effects of the drug.
If Paxil helped, then it is very likely that Celexa will do the same because the two drugs are in the same class of antidepressants. If the Paxil did not help, then a switch to another class of ADs would be the best choice.
Once you have reached a theraputic dosage you should begin to feel better within three weeks. It may take up to six weeks to get the full effects. Most of all, be patient. Good luck!
