Lost in the Procees

I have read these threads with great interest. I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, and started seeing a psychiatrist last year. He put me on Effexor, which was an excellent medication until recently, when it lost its "effect." I have attempted to regain support from this drug by increasing dosage, adding Wellbutrin, and now Prozac, but nothing seems to work. What is worse, I am behaving like an addict again. I would appreciate input from those of you with a similar experience on which way to proceed.
