Dona - Imovane™ (zopiclone) is one of the few effective hypnotics (sleeping pills) around, that isn't a benzodiazepine. There are a few weird things about it, though. Many people, the moring after taking Imovane, wake up with a bad taste in their mouths (literally). Others don't get the bad taste. I probably has something to do with the genetic diversity of taste buds.
Also, unlike benzodiazepines [eg Restoril™ (temazepam), Mogadon™ (nitrazepam), Halcion™ (triazolam)] where increasing the dose increases sedation, when you take Imovane you get slightly more tired, but the effects of the drug last longer (ie may cause a "hangover effect" the next morning). In other words, when taking more Imovane, you don't necessarily get more tired, but you are tired longer.
Most people don't get that "doped up" sleeping pill feeling with Imovane.
Hope this helps - Cam
