Fifteen million clams? A mere bag of shells, Sir! The fact is that it takes approximately $250 million bucks to get a new drug to market. Check out the fiasco Knoll Pharmaceuticals went through with MERIDIA, developed first as an SSRI, but later changed to an anorectic agent (diet pill) when it failed all sorts of studies and tests. A double whammy, and waste, in this caseYou're probably thinking of the usual 15 million dollar yearly bonuses these drug CEOs so casually pocket, without remorse or compunction. Oink! Oink!
Greetz to John: your message was excellent.
