i don't know about the difference between mao a and mao b mechanisms, but mao-b such as selegeline is much weaker. it also often doesn't require adherence to the infamous diet. eldepryl (brand) is much better than generic becuz generics' quality varies. i liked eldepryl until it pooped out, but i can't take nardil (had a severe hypertensive incident.)let me know what your p-doc thinks. caroline h.
