In reply to ultram for ocd?, posted by rogdog on March 6, 2001, at 3:11:11
> I had some ultram for my headaches and I noticed that 30 to 45 minutes after I took one, my ocd and negative thinking started to shift into a more positive attitude. I know the addictive properties of any opioid type pain killer, does anyone know of studies or doctors that use any type of new medication in the opiate class for anxiety/depression? or something that targets something other than f**king seretonin????? thanks, Rogdog
Run a medline search.
The approach has been used.
Other opioids have even been found to be useful in cases of OCD non-responsive to ECT and repeated brain surgeries.
